Females On 45: Jukebox Junkie Edition
This design is a shout out to some of the country icons of the 50s/60s who showed that women could do more than just sing pretty. They could raise the roof, raise hell, and burn down the honky-tonk too. Many were also writing and singing their own lyrics when it was not common for women to do so. The hair may have been mighty high but the music was mightier.

My Females on 45 series is a history lesson on a shirt that celebrates the ladies of the music boom of the 50s and 60s, shouting out to the women of the world who blazed trails and did it their own way despite whatever society said they could or could not do.
These were ladies logging national and worldwide hits on wax. Sometimes more hits than their male counter parts! From rhythm and blues to rock and roll to soul and folk, country, pscyh, swing, jazz, and even world sounds from Jamaica to Brazil to India to Japan. They changed the music landscape forever and for the better.
