When rock ‘n roll history was written it became Elvis and Chuck Berry all day every day, especially in the USA. You couldn’t find a mention of any women at the time who brought as much if not more dragster tail pipe smoke. Specifically huge hit makers like Ruth Brown, Brenda Lee, and Connie Francis.
And originally rock ‘n’ roll was a teen thing and all the 45s were meant to be disposable teen product, while proper albums were for “adults”. But back then and maybe even more so today the late 50s-60s is such a fun era for people to collect all those great 45 singles!
So I present to you a series of shirt designs to celebrate the women trailblazers, pioneers, legends, and icons who laid down the new rules on 45!
